August 7 is the official release date for two Green Bay homicide stories from the 1980s. TitleTown Publishing will sponsor a Green Bay true crime double book release party from 6:30-9 p.m. at Titletown Brewing Company, 200 Dousman St., under the outside canopy. A complimentary appetizer table will be available to participants.
Torture at the Back Forty is the long-awaited Margaret Anderson story from 1983. Margaret was brutalized by members of two motorcycle gangs and killed. Torture is a national release. Author Mike Dauplaise will be sign copies of the book, and this is his first signing stop.
Run at Destruction – A True Fatal Love Triangle is also officially releasing that day, and debut author Lynda Drews will join Dauplaise at the signing table. Run is the true story of the 1984 death of local teacher and avid runner Pam Bulik, and is also a national and international release.
As a special on the night of the signings, both books can be purchased for $25.
