The Manga Critic and Ponent Mon

Katherine Dacey tells readers about Ponent Mon’s attendance at MoCAA this year. Are you going?

“Among this year’s exhibitors is Fanfare/Ponent Mon, publisher of such titles as Disappearance Diary, Japan as Viewed by 17 Creators, My Mommy Is in America and She Met Buffalo Bill, Tokyo Is My Garden, and The Walking Man. Be sure to stop by the booth, sneak a peak at Fanfare’s summer and fall releases, and snag a book or two.”

What Makes a Good Comic Shop?

David Welsh of Precocious Curmudgeon has compiled a checklist of titles any good comic book shop should have. The second bullet point:

Shelf copies of at least two books from Fanfare/Ponent Mon. Bonus points for shelf copies of each additional title.

We agree David, we agree.

Get your copies at Amazon.com, or, if you are a bookstore who is sorely lacking Fanfare/ Ponent Mon titles, please contact james@midpointtrade.com
